CTHINGS.CO Smart City Expo Showcase: From Urban Infrastructure to Scalable Operations
In one week, CTHINGS.CO will be at Smart City Expo Poland 2026, where we will be joined at Booth C1 by Valmont Industries and VERIFIS.
Together with Valmont Industries Inc. and VERIFIS, CTHINGS.CO will bring three different but complementary perspectives to Smart City Expo Poland on how modern urban infrastructure is built, deployed, maintained, and managed at scale.
Valmont is a global provider of infrastructure solutions. At the booth, the company will demonstrate how lighting poles can provide a flexible foundation for connected city services, allowing cities to expand the role of existing infrastructure as new needs emerge.
VERIFIS will bring its experience in complex, large-scale deployments, including reverse vending machine networks operating across thousands of locations. Their perspective highlights what happens after a technology moves beyond the pilot stage, when installation, logistics, servicing, SLA management, process standardization, and consistent quality become critical to long-term success.
From Individual Solutions to City-Wide Infrastructure
As deployments grow, individual technologies increasingly become part of a much wider environment.
A city may rely on devices, applications, communications networks, and infrastructure from many different providers. Each can solve a specific problem, but the real challenge is ensuring that the overall environment remains secure, visible, manageable, and ready to evolve.
Adding a new service should not require replacing infrastructure that already works. Expanding a deployment should not mean creating another disconnected system. And increasing the number of connected devices should not make the environment harder to secure or control.
This is where CTHINGS.CO and Orchestra come in.
Orchestra provides a unified environment for managing distributed devices, applications, networks, and data. It gives organizations greater visibility and control across connected infrastructure while supporting secure expansion across different technologies, providers, and use cases.
At Booth C1, we will show how this approach can help cities and technology providers manage complex environments more effectively and prepare infrastructure for future requirements.
We will also reveal a real-world deployment focused on public safety and secure communication across urban infrastructure, showing how connected technologies can support critical operations outside the laboratory or pilot environment.
Bringing the Conversation to the Conference Stage
This year, CTHINGS.CO is also a Sponsor of the Conference Zone.
On September 16, from 12:00 to 12:30 PM, we will bring together perspectives from infrastructure, large-scale deployment, and technology management to discuss a question that is becoming increasingly important for cities:
How can urban technologies be developed and scaled without compromising cybersecurity, operational control, or the flexibility to work with different providers?
The discussion will move beyond individual products and focus on the practical realities of Smart City development: moving from pilots to large-scale deployments, maintaining infrastructure over time, integrating technologies from different providers, and making sure today's investments remain useful as city needs evolve.
Connect with Us at Booth C1
Smart City Expo Poland is an opportunity to see these different layers of urban infrastructure in one place and discuss how they can work together in real-world environments.
Join the debate on September 16, then visit us at Booth C1 in Hall 4 to see the technologies in action and speak with the CTHINGS.CO, Valmont, and VERIFIS teams.
