CTHINGS.CO at IBS Paris 2026: Advancing Secure and Interoperable Smart Building Solutions
CTHINGS.CO recently exhibited at Intelligent Building Systems in Paris, alongside Wirepas and ecosystem partners.
CTHINGS.CO joined Wirepas and ecosystem partners at Intelligent Building Systems (IBS) Paris 2026, held on October 14–15, to showcase its edge orchestration and connectivity portfolio and highlight ongoing collaboration with INGY on the EU co-funded PRISM-IoT project.
The two-day event brought together integrators, technology providers, and building professionals to exchange perspectives on interoperability, cybersecurity, energy efficiency, and connected building infrastructure.
At Booth B37, CTHINGS.CO presented solutions designed to help organizations integrate technologies from multiple vendors, simplify deployments across different sites, and maintain secure, centralized oversight of distributed IoT environments.
Simplifying Integration and Strengthening Cybersecurity
Modern intelligent buildings combine numerous connected technologies, including lighting systems, occupancy sensors, environmental monitoring equipment, gateways, and applications. For systems integrators, bringing these components together while maintaining security and operational control is essential.
During IBS Paris, CTHINGS.CO showcased Orchestra, our edge orchestration platform, alongside Edge IoT Gateways and connectivity solutions.
Orchestra provides a vendor-agnostic environment for managing distributed devices, applications, networks, and data across edge, on-premises, and cloud infrastructure. Its capabilities enable integrators and technology providers to:
- Integrate existing infrastructure and technologies from different vendors.
- Simplify deployment, monitoring, and management across multiple buildings and sites.
- Secure remote access and control through Zero Trust principles.
- Manage devices and applications throughout their lifecycle.
- Support cybersecurity and regulatory compliance readiness as connected environments scale.
By combining orchestration software with edge computing and connectivity, CTHINGS.CO supports the development of intelligent-building solutions that can evolve with changing operational and technology requirements.
Showcasing joint EU project with INGY
Another highlight of IBS Paris was the opportunity to present progress on PRISM-IoT, a joint research and development project between CTHINGS.CO and Dutch technology company INGY.
The project, formally titled AI-Powered Secure and Resilient IoT Platform for Mission-Critical Applications, aims to develop an AI-powered platform for monitoring and managing wireless IoT networks and distributed edge infrastructure in environments where security, reliability, and operational resilience are essential.
PRISM-IoT brings together CTHINGS.CO's expertise in secure edge orchestration and industrial IoT with INGY's experience in intelligent lighting, sensing, and smart building applications.
The platform is being designed to provide real-time infrastructure visibility and management, using AI methods to support network reliability and security. Its development also addresses interoperability across different connectivity standards and cybersecurity requirements associated with the NIS2 Directive.
The project uses Wirepas Mesh connectivity and will demonstrate its capabilities through secure lighting control and real-time asset tracking in an industrial environment.
PRISM-IoT is implemented under the Eurostars program, part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs, co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe.
Building Collaboration Across the IoT Ecosystem
Participation in IBS Paris provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with partners and engage directly with integrators and technology providers working on connected building projects.
Sharing Booth B37 with Wirepas and ecosystem partners, including INGY and ZEMPER, highlighted the different technologies and capabilities contributing to intelligent-building environments.
For CTHINGS.CO, the event was also an opportunity to discuss how secure orchestration, interoperable connectivity, and edge computing can help technology providers move from individual building installations toward more manageable, multi-site deployments.
We would like to thank Wirepas, INGY, ZEMPER, and everyone who visited our booth for the valuable conversations and insights shared during the event.
