CTHINGS.CO is participating in a Priority I project under the FENG 2021–2027 Program to build a secure system for real-time industrial data and predictive analytics across distributed environments.
The CTHINGS.CO initiative under Priority I of the FENG Program 2021–2027 focuses on building a system that strengthens how large-scale IoT fleets are integrated, orchestrated, and operated across heterogeneous, distributed environments, enabling interoperable, real-time communication and data-driven predictive maintenance.
Project title: A generic system for managing distributed infrastructure for real-time data acquisition, with predictive analytics for industrial processes, based on a global, dynamic Service Mesh microservices architecture and a Zero Trust security model.
Project value: PLN 9,067,215.00
European Funds contribution: PLN 5,440,329.00
Industrial organizations increasingly operate assets across multiple sites, device types, vendors, and connectivity conditions. Keeping everything connected, synchronized, secure, and maintainable, while still moving fast, requires an approach that works across protocols, formats, and operating systems, and that holds up in real-world industrial conditions.
This project is designed to address those challenges directly, with a practical system that supports reliable operations from edge to cloud, including hybrid deployments.
The project aims to deliver capabilities that improve day-to-day deployment and operations for distributed industrial environments:
Secure, direct real-time communication between distributed services and edge devices, including resilient routing designed for unstable or changing network conditions
Real-time data sharing and synchronization across sites and device types—independent of protocol, data format, or operating system
Simplified deployment and lifecycle management of containerized applications to accelerate rollouts and reduce operational overhead
Streaming analytics for predictive maintenance, enabling earlier detection of potential failures
Integration and validation within the existing Orchestra Platform, tested in real industrial scenarios to ensure the approach works in practice—not only in theory
This work is intended for industrial companies operating distributed assets, OT/IT and IoT teams, system integrators, and organizations managing large, multi-vendor industrial IoT environments.
By combining real-time communication, cross-environment synchronization, streamlined container operations, and predictive maintenance analytics, the system is expected to deliver:
Faster deployments and easier scaling across edge, cloud, and hybrid environments
Lower operational effort and reduced costs in distributed operations
More reliable connectivity and improved machine uptime through early failure detection
If your organization operates distributed industrial assets or manages a complex, multi-vendor IoT environment, we’d love to connect.
