With the number of organizations piloting Industrial IoT on the rise, more industrial enterprises are turning to IoT as a way of reducing costs.
This year’s Bain & Company Technology Report surveyed 500 American and European Industrial IoT decision-makers and noticed a growth of nearly 20% in the number of companies implementing proofs of concept since 2018, with another 20% projected until 2026.
The success rate is more impressive than the growth, with nearly all interviewees reporting that their deployments are going as well or better than expected.
According to the survey, the results are revenue increases and cost reductions of 30% to 40%.
Despite such undeniable benefits, the report points out challenges with scalability and interoperability as today’s main barriers to widespread Industrial IoT adoption.
Those are the core aspects that CTHINGS.CO solves with the 5G Suite: a vendor-agnostic umbrella toolset to connect and manage IoT fleets and networks at scale with one-click orchestration.
We are focused on abstracting IoT networking to ensure that industries have the ideal connectivity layer to reap the benefits of an ever-growing number of innovative solutions.
